DachaBook Community Guidelines
DachaBook is a community built on honest, respectful exchange between guests and dacha owners. These guidelines help protect that trust and keep the platform useful for everyone.
For Guests
Reviews should reflect real stay experiences and help future guests make informed decisions.

A review must come from genuine personal experience. It may only be submitted by a guest who had an active DachaBook plan during the period they claim to have visited, and reviews that appear fabricated or unverifiable should be reported.

Language must remain respectful at all times. Profanity, insults aimed at the owner, discriminatory language based on ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other personal characteristic, and threatening or aggressive tone are strictly prohibited.

Reviews must be about the dacha itself: its condition, cleanliness, listing accuracy, and the overall stay experience. They may not be used to settle unrelated disputes, promote other businesses, or include contact information, external links, or pricing offers.

Photos and videos attached to reviews must be authentic and taken during the actual stay. They must not include nudity, graphic content, doctored images, or images of other people taken without consent.

Star ratings must reflect honest sentiment. A one-star rating paired with a positive written review, or the reverse, is considered misleading and may be removed by a moderator.
For Owners
Listing titles, descriptions, and media should present the property accurately and without manipulation.

The listing title must accurately name or describe the property. It must not include unsubstantiated superlatives, pricing, phone numbers, social media handles, or calls to action such as "call now."

The description must be factually accurate. Every amenity tagged in the infrastructure section, including a pool, banya, BBQ, generator, and similar facilities, must actually exist and be available at the property; if something becomes unavailable, the listing must be updated promptly.

Descriptions must be written in respectful, neutral language. They must not disparage competing dachas or other platforms, and they must not include profanity or discriminatory language.

Photos must be real photographs of the actual property. Stock imagery, AI-generated images, and photos of a different property are not allowed; basic brightness and color correction are acceptable, but edits that hide damage, alter apparent room size, or fabricate amenities are not.

Photos and videos may only include people who have given explicit consent to appear. Nudity, content unsuitable for a general audience, and misleading media are prohibited.

Owners must not include phone numbers, social media handles, or any direct contact details inside the listing title or description. Contact information is surfaced only through DachaBook's plan system and may not be embedded to bypass it.
How violations are handled
All listings are reviewed by DachaBook moderators before they go live. Reviews can be reported by any user through the flag control on the review itself. Content that breaks these guidelines may be edited, removed, or, in repeated cases, lead to account suspension. Owners whose listings are removed for violations lose that listing slot for the rest of their active subscription period with no automatic refund. Guests whose reviews are removed keep their active plan, but repeated violations may trigger an account review.
